1. Listings are JSON files. Do not invent ownership or editorial state.
2. Submitters use schema.submission.json only. Do not send verification_status, ownership_status, editorial_status, link_rel, founded_case, or example.
3. Outbound product links default to rel="ugc nofollow". follow is an operator editorial decision — never a submitter field, never time-based auto-promotion.
4. Founding-case is a seed label, not a link-policy privilege.
5. Ownership proof (later automation): DNS TXT indieindex-verify=TOKEN OR /.well-known/indieindex.txt OR meta indieindex-verify. Proof ≠ editorial approval.
6. No phishing, malware, keyword stuffing, or bulk identical spam.
7. Examples (example: true) are format samples, not products, and are noindex.
