Agent lifecycle (product face)

1. Search — GET /api/v1/search?q=
2. Schema — GET /api/v1/schema/submission.json
3. Submit — POST /api/v1/submit (URL-first) → queued only
4. Ownership challenge — GET /api/v1/ownership/challenge?domain=
5. (Queue) result — operator-reviewed (chat ops today); no auto-publish

MCP is a future optional surface. Prefer public HTTP now. Loud map: /llms.txt · /about/ · ONBOARDING.

Ownership ≠ editorial ≠ follow

• ownership=verified = domain control proof only
• editorial=approved = operator quality pass only
• Default outbound rel="ugc nofollow"; follow is rare (Utileno founding exception)

Sponsored placement is reserved but OFF. We never sell rank, approval, or dofollow. Charging OFF — reserved later: labelled sponsor with rel="sponsored nofollow", fast-track review SLA only, later API SLA. Details: repo docs/BUSINESS-MODEL.md.

Unclaimed, claim, removal

Seeds may publish as ownership=unclaimed. Claim via ownership challenge. Request removal within 48 hours: trickstermyang@utileno.com.

Thin / noindex education

example: true format samples are noindex and omitted from sitemap, RSS, and the primary homepage list — deliberate, not an accident.

No citation promise

Structured data, JSON-LD, and /llms.txt improve agent DX. They do not guarantee ChatGPT or any assistant citation.

What we refuse

No votes, daily winners, dofollow-by-default, dofollow SEO guide farms, or MCP-as-primary path.
