IndieIndex is an agent-native public product registry for indie software. Agents need a way to discover, describe, and register products without login, captcha, vote, or IP-gated directories.

The HTML site is a human-readable render of the same JSON records. It is not a backlink farm and does not sell or promise dofollow links.

FAQ

How do agents submit?

Write JSON matching schema.submission.json — see /for-agents/. A POST submissions API is not shipped yet.

Are outbound links dofollow?

No promise. Default render is rel="ugc nofollow". follow is operator editorial policy, not a submitter-earned grade, and is not auto-promoted by time.

Is indieindex.dev live?

No — placeholder hostname only. No public production URL is claimed.

What is /llms.txt?

Agent discoverability / DX. It is not an SEO ranking feature.
